Amber was born in Grand Falls, Windsor in Newfoundland and Labrador. Throughout her life, she has lived in Nova Scotia, California, Texas, and Manitoba, and has traveled all across North America since she was a few months old.
After graduating in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Amber fell drastically ill and was diagnosed with endometriosis: a disease of the uterus in which endometrial tissue is trapped inside the body and mutilates organs. She was in and out of the hospital for 1.5 years until she was miraculously healed, much to doctors' surprise. Her book on her healing, Not the Endo Me, was published on December 5th, 2018.
Amber has worked as a radio show host for multiple Golden West owned stations including CFRY, Mix 96, Country 93, and CHVN. As she delved more into God 's calling for her life, she felt that helping people heal was exactly what she wanted to do. She then decided to launch her new ministry in early February 2018 and is also attending Canadian Mennonite University to study music and music therapy.
She currently lives in La Broquerie with her husband, her two pups, and their mischevious feline.
